This early project in urban design challenged students to identify 5 elements from Christopher Alexander's 'A Pattern language' that are present or could be integrated within Montreal's Chinatown. The final assignment challenged my abilities to balance thoughtful research, complex design language, intentionality, and self-taken images. All this, combining my own personal anecdotes (through images) with Montreal's Chinatown fabric and cultural activities. This project remains important to share as it shows my potential as a young undergrad student and demonstrates the evolution of my skills.
